Grounding
Grounding is the practice of basing an AI-generated answer on specific retrieved sources rather than on the model's trained-in memory alone. Grounded answers are more likely to cite the sources they draw from.
Grounded answers tend to name sources, so becoming the clearest, most authoritative source on a topic increases the chance you're the one an answer is grounded to.
